Decan Constellations

The GAIA Interpretive System includes the Decan Star Signs, a set of 36 additional constellations that have come down to us from the ancient astrologers. Each of these 36 Star Signs has its own Tarot card that will often show how to resolve a challenge and open to the opportunity of the star sign. These principles applied to the Earth show how to resolve world problems.
Ptolemy described an original set of 48 contellations (the 36 Decan Star Signs plus the 12 signs of the zodiac) that together reflect everything that happens in the world.

DECAN CONSTELLATIONS
http://www.san.beck.org/Astro-Decs.html Sanderson Beck
In addition to the twelve signs of the zodiac the ancients
also described thirty-six other constellations that were
associated with each ten-degree section of the zodiac. The
oldest records of them have been found inside coffin lids
in the 10th Egyptian dynasty about 2100 BC. The thirty-six
are also mentioned in the Babylonian Enuma Anu Enlil about
four centuries later. Through the expansion of the Persian
and later Babylonian empires these 48 constellations were
adopted and renamed by the Greeks...

Practical Application:

It is possible to see present events in the world as direct
reflections of numbered cycles and planetary movements.
The correspondence between world events and celestial
movements becomes clear when attention is given to decan
star signs and their tarot correspondences in relation to the
related 10 degree sections of the Earth Zodiac.
